American break-out singer, Solána Imani Rowe shared some advice that her mother gave her and I am personally taking it.
In the text message sent, her mother describes the art of goal setting and how best to not get overwhelmed by all the many tasks we’re hoping to accomplish. In a few words, she’s able to reasonably calm the overwhelmed into recognising that the key to success is not in worrying about tomorrow’s problems but in being functional enough to move forward from our current position in singular steps.
She starts off by saying “you can eat an elephant”; an apt description for what follows.
