The brain is the most complex organ in the human body. It produces every thought, action, memory and feeling. It is mind-blogging how the brain gets all these activities done. It is important to make a conscious effort to help reduce the workload of this dynamic jelly-like mass of tissue by jump-starting the brain every morning.
Here 10 ways to jump-start the brain every morning:
Start a process to remember your dream:
The reason why it is important to remember your dream is that often as we forge your way through the day you load your brain with so much information and when your brain never stops focusing on this problem. When you sleep your subconsciousness doesn’t stop working, it then comes up with an amazing solution which then translates into dreams. This is why it’s is important to spend the first five minutes after you wake up recollecting the dreams you’ve had.
Make your bed:
A clear and organised environment will give you a clearer mind. Also, the way you start your day determines how you will end, start your day with an excellent spirit by neatly laying your bed. It is a really great thing to do because at the end of the day you come back to a neatly laid bed.
Drink a lot of water:
This important because your brain is 80% water. The brain becomes dehydrated when we sleep at night, so drink a lot of water to keep it hydrated.
Deep breathing exercise:
This help fight brain fog or mental fatigue. The brain weighs just about 2% of your body weight on the average but it consumes 20% of the oxygen you breathe in and it nourishes with the nutrients needed. The time you feel really tired do the deep breathing exercise
Prepare your brain tea:
The brain strives on gratitude when you begin your day with a grateful heart. It’s easy to get caught in the cycle of negative thinking and eventually forgetting how good you actually have it. When you spend some time in the morning to list out 5 things you are grateful for, it shifts your whole mindset and your day becomes so much brighter.
