SUPERWOMAN, ALETHEA BORMAN BECOMES FIRST FEMALE PROFESSIONAL BODYBUILDER TO REPRESENT NAMIBIA AT INTERNATIONAL LEVEL
38-year-old professional bodybuilder Alethea Borman first rose to limelight in 2016 when she put her country, Namibia in the spotlight for winning a medal at an international event. Alethea, whose first bodybuilding event was in 2016 is gradually making her way to the top professionally. She recently ranked 13th in the just concluded International Federation of Bodybuilding & Fitness (IFFB) World Championships held in Paris which automatically earned her a ticket to represent her country in the just concluded Arnolds Classics Africa 2018.
Altethea who says she went into bodybuilding because she was inspired to take care of herself, says she trains two times every weekday, once on Saturdays and has been dieting since July 2017. Stating that although it is not easy, she is determined to inspire other women around the world to take their health seriously.
Finally, it is interesting to know that Alethea is a legal adviser, mother of three and has been married for sixteen years. It is amazing how she manages to juggle between these three roles and performs great at them; Althea is indeed a superwoman.
