With this growing increase, it is only necessary for women to know some safety tricks they can use in times of trouble.
Always know that you have a right to fight: Statistics have proven that the odds of survival are higher if you do fight back. Aim for the eyes first and the groin second. Use the environment: Be aware of your environment. If there are handy objects to use as weapons or shields, do not waste time in making appropriate use of them for the situation. Can you pull a fire alarm, smash windows to attract help?
Take self-defence training classes: It is not necessary to learn the martial arts techniques that are unrealistic, complicated and complex. Learning the basic tricks can be useful during times like this.
Use your sixth sense: Which means always do what your instinct tells you to do and from findings, women have very strong instincts. If you have a sense of foreboding, don’t second guess yourself. It is better to be safe than to ignore your instincts and become the victim of a violent crime.
Finally, escape is always your best option: If possible runaway, throw stones, yell for help or try to do anything that would attract the attention of other people. And if the criminal is after your purse or other material items, throw them one way while you run the other.
