IT’S PAMPER YOURSELF O’CLOCK

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy

I will like to have that rephrased.

All work and no play makes Jane a very dull girl or woman.

The weekend is here and do I hear a sigh of relief.

You’ve worked so hard all week, it is only right you make the best of the week to rest and to also pamper yourself.

I come bearing four ways to pamper yourself this weekend, I hope you are all up for it.

Meditate:

In a world of daily stress, anxieties and expectation, our mind can easily come under a lot of pressure which directly affects our mood, making us less positive and self-assured. Meditation has a profound, rich and calming effect on the human body and it  is an effective way to clear our minds. It is a chance to tap into an abundance of creative energy that is said to give a more meaningful experience of life that will enrich us permanently.

Get yourself something new:

Get yourself something new, you deserve it! I understand that you have financial responsibilities but It doesn’t have to be as  expensive as a $500 Celine bag (If you can afford it, by all means do). It could be a box of cookies or a bottle of wine. Just a  little self-gratification because you deserve some accolades.

Go on a girls’ day out:

Just last week I mentioned the reasons why you have to go on galcation. It is really important to spend time with people we care about; to regroup, refresh and relax. So go on, get a movie ticket for yourself and your girlfriends or book a spa date.

Take a nap:

Sleep, sleep and sleep some more. Sleep is an active period in which a lot of important processing, restoration, and strengthening occurs. One of the vital roles of sleep is to help you solidify and consolidate memories, the human body requires enough sleep to rejuvenate, synthesize hormones, grow muscles and repair tissues.
