LESSONS FROM A ROLLING BOTTLE

Place two static bottles side by side, did you notice them move? Of course not. Now you are thinking it’s just a dumb thing to do.

Do you know that a static bottle when in contact with a rolling one makes it move?

I have always been fascinated by science. That motion initiated by the static bottle after being struck by a rolling one is called Newton’s law of inertia. You could probably think of it as a scientific mumbo-jumbo but this thing is applicable in your day-to-day life.

Before the advent of smart phones, I owned an analogue Nokia phone that displayed a personalised welcome note when turned on, with the inscription ‘Their destiny is tied to mine.’ A friend had once saw it and likened it to modern day sorcery, which we had laughed over in a banter. However, with time it has come to posit that the inscription held deep meaning.

Each time a woman stands up for herself, without knowing it possibly, without claiming it, she stands up for all women. – Maya Angelou.

When you are motivated and make progress. You are stirring up other women to follow the same path.

Would you rather choose to sit on the destiny of probably a thousand other women or would you be a pace-setter?

It’s all up to you. If you want it, Own it.
