A JOURNEY RIDDLED WITH STORMS MAKES FOR A MORE INTERESTING STORY
Ever wondered why Grace to Grass stories were just always more appealing. No one wants to hear about someone who never had to struggle to become a success. It is more relatable and perhaps intriguing when an individual who you look up to can tell you about many instances where just like you they had to persevere through their journey.
As an individual going through your fair share of obstacles and hurdles, think of it as a rite of passage. The greatest people do have the best stories or there would be no need for a memoir and no one would read it. The obstacles allow you to take shape. Gold wouldn’t be fine-tuned if it didn’t go through the furnace and clay needed the sculptor or it would just be clay, absolutely useless for the most part.
One of my favorite parts of the bible talks about timing. Ecclesiastes 3 talks about ‘a time to be born, a time to die, a time to plant and a time to pluc what is planted’. This is your sowing season and the time to pluck awaits you but there will be no harvest if there is no sowing. My advice to you this pleasant morning is to press through wherever you are placed. No matter how insignificant it currently seems, God knows just how to use you. It may seem like no one sees you or notices your effort but in His time, all will come to pass. You have to learn to see the journey through and believe me, it isn’t as easy as just typing it out for you to read, it takes an immense level of patience that will test you. But, it is this patience that sifts out those who succeed and those who don’t.
Press through, it’s worth the good story.
